Writing a resume is an important part to any road to success, bringing important individuals to acknowledge your achievements and capabilities. Before beginning to write your resume compile your achievements and figure out how your resume will be structured. Most resume are structured in 4 main ways:

  1. Chronological
  2. Functional
  3. Combination
  4. Targeted

Knowing how you're going to structure keeps your resume organized and easier to read which allows for your resume to stand out apart from the others. When you begin writing your resume remember to keep it professional using appropriate fonts, grammar, and punctuation. Make sure to include a Cover Letter, which includes:

  1. your name
  2. mailing address
  3. telephone number
  4. email address
  5. linkedin profile.

Also be sure to have your name as the largest font size on the page. Your resume will include all other information(date of birth, list of felonies, health issues, etc.), and all information that will give you the upper hand in getting a job(High School achievements, previous jobs, etc.). A resume including all of the precedents is sure to obtain a job offering.
